Smith Family Yellow
Smith Family Yellow
This peony - Smith Family Yellow - is a wonderful addition to the yellow peony family.
The large semi double blooms are a true bright yellow with subtle orange-red toned basal flares. (It’s also reported that Smith Family Yellow can produce double form flowers however it has not done so in our fields).
For us, Smith Family Yellow blooms earlier than Bartzella and after High Noon, making it a great way to close potential gaps in your garden’s yellow flowering peony season
Smith Family Yellow has demonstrated vigorous growth for us. Best of all, it produces side buds that nearly rival the main bud in size. These create a floriferous, long blooming cultivar overall.
An all-around fanstastic cultivar.
All bare-root peonies ship Sept-Oct.
