Felix Supreme
Felix Supreme
Introduced in 1955, Felix Supreme is an outstanding variety for both the garden and for cuts.
The form is double, with a pronounced,. beautifully constructed corona developing as the bloom matures. The variety if floriferous, putting out many ruby red blooms even on younger plants. As a bonus, Felix Supreme is fragrant.
The APS registry indicates Felix Supreme has strong stems. While the stems are stronger, the flowers are also heavy and large. As such, unless planted in a very sheltered location, Felix Supreme benefits from support in the landscape.
All bare-root peonies ship Sept-Oct.
