Primevere
Primevere
Primevere has been in cultivation since 1901 and there’s a reason it’s so popular.
The Anemone form bloom opens with soft pink guard petals and and butter cream yellow center. Both guard petals and center fade to creamy white.
The bloom is beautiful but, arguably, the best thing about Primevere is the length of its bloom season. Primevere starts mid season for us and then continues to bloom until the end of the peony season, when the side buds are continuing to open. If you want a long peony blooms season, Primevere will add that to your garden.
Primevere is fragrant. The blooms will require support in the landscape.
All bare-root peonies ship Sept-Oct.
