Nezhnyj
Nezhnyj
Peony Nezhynj is loads of fun and one of my favorite multi-color peonies.
In our experience flower coloration can vary substantially. On one hand, many flowers will have violet pink guard petals cover creamy white central petals with a cleanly differentiated violet pink corona rising above the central petals.
In other cases, flowers will have the creamy white central petals and violet corona but with less differentiation. I have pictured both presentations.
Nezhnyj is fragrant and produces blooms attractive enough for cuts, assuming your cut flower market likes multi-colored peonies.
Because of it’s beauty and variety, I look forward to this unusual cultivar each year.
All bare-root peonies ship Sept-Oct.
